Reckoner Update October 2025

Reckoner 4.0 is out and we’re in the home stretch for my priority features! I’m keeping this short since I’ve gone into detail on the previous updates.

🚢 Releases

The Reckoner 4.0 release is out and it drastically improves sync. In particular it has bulk synchronization was utilized for PocketBase which helps with the synchronization speed. There were a few other point releases also released to handle some edge cases and improve sync speed further by having a larger sync bundle.

🛜 Aggregator Support

I have been hard at work adding SimpleFIN to Reckoner. This has involved checking the API documents and building out a service to connect to the API. I had to add Dio to my dependency list since the standard Dart HTTP package doesn’t allow multiple of the same HTTP header. I’m still unsure if I’ll keep Dio or just use multiple http requests to handle the need for different filters.
